Moving to music in the womb, Shaun Hailey was born March 13, 1987, to the late Rev. McKinley T. Hailey and Marci Hailey. At an early age he was exposed to music, and it was apparent that he had God given talents. Expressing himself thru singing, dancing, and comedic relief. Shaun has always motivated and inspired his peers to do better, go harder, and think outside the box.
Growing up at Concord Church in Dallas, TX., he was able to get a solid foundation under the ministries of the late Dr. E.K. Bailey. Under the guidance of Pastor Stephen Brown and Senior Pastor Bryan L. Carter, Shaun was able to freely express himself thru stepping, dancing, and mission work. He led the male step and mentoring group Zoe Posse. Their sole mission was to bring others to Christ thru stepping and other creative means. Interning for the Children's ministry he was over the praise and worship and assisted with the creative development for the children's Sunday school curriculums. It was then he realized the need for kids to have an exciting and relative worship experience.
Shaun's sole mission in life is to show the love and joy of Christ. To many times we focus on what Christ looks like instead of what Christ gives us; salvation. He is adamant about Christians getting out of their pews and opening their mouths to praise God. His life scripture is Ezekiel 6:11. "This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Strike you hands together and stamp your feet and cry out" Alas! because of all the wicked and detestable practices of the house of Israel, for they will fall by the sword, famine and plague.
